adidas Gives Yung-1 the Tie-Dye Treatment for "420" Release
Complemented by sunny yellow accents.

Following the thematic Samba colorway, adidas is now prepping a seasonal take on its popular Yung-1 running silhouette. Offering pale pastel tones and splotches of tie-dye, the “420” colorway blends on-trend elements of the holiday into an appreciably understated design.
Like Nike and Vans’ 4/20 models, the Yung-1 “420” offers some playful graphic detailing to distinguish itself from the general release editions. Though its not the first Yung-1 to offer playful uppers, it is the first to sport white-on-blue tie-dye across its canvas uppers.
Elsewhere, grey nubuck meshes with hairy blue suede, complementing the muted shoe’s white midsole and black outsole. Matching laces and tongue branding keep the design quiet, with bright yellow accents on the Three Stripes branding serving as the sole statement feature on the low-key silhouette.
The adidas Yung-1 “420” will hit adidas’ website and stockists like Wellgosh on April 20.
Recently, Tokyo’s BILLYS remastered the Yung-1 with neon accents.
