One of last year’s most memorable team-ups was between A-COLD-WALL*‘s designer Samuel Ross and sportswear and lifestyle imprint Oakley. With the latter brand specializing in technological advancements with a vision geared towards functionality, Ross effectually channeled those same qualities alongside a design ethos revolving around futuristically-aligned apparel. Now, after showcasing the Oakley by Samuel Ross “Season 2” just last month, some of the pieces are finally available.
Included in the preliminary drop are a variety of graphic-infused baselayers such as the Grey Zip Panelled T-Shirt and Black Rock Print Over T-Shirt, which feature off-kilter panelling stitch details and pockets for functional purposes. Other items include the Black Deconstructed and Black Skydiver Zip Tees, which offer zipper details and more graphics placed throughout. In terms of mid-layers, Ross has delivered the Grey & Silver Fleece High Neck Sweatshirt, which offers crinkled foil paneling in silver-tone throughout. For outerwear, the made-in-Italy Blue Skydiver Field Jacket features various-sized pockets alongside branded logos on the front zip enclosure. A plethora of trousers and shorts have also been included, which carry on the unique design ethos Ross has grown a reputation for.
