Haas Brothers & L'OBJET Link for Whimsical, Joshua Tree-Inspired Home Collection

Known for their playful and inventive designs, the Haas Brothers have unleashed their whimsical art approach on a collaborative home goods collection with luxury lifestyle brand L’OBJET. The 65-piece assortment spans tableware, interior décor, textiles and fragrance, taking inspiration from Joshua Tree’s scenic desert landscape to create a mix of quirky characters-turned-household staples.
Los Angeles-based artists Simon and Nikolai Haas partnered closely with L’OBJET creative director Elad Yifrach to conceive a capsule that fuses an elegant aesthetic with fun design elements, utilizing 3D-printing to craft the tribe of “creatures” that make up the homewares. Incense burners are constructed with gold “horns” for expelling the smoke, while the “Lynda” box and plate set boasts plump lips on a porcelain fur monster. Other standout pieces include the limited-edition Haas Second Skin Vessels, which are offered in colorful and patterned “Snake,” “Lizard,” “Tiger,” and “Frog” variations. While much of the range is coated in white, black and gold for an elevated look, teal, bright orange and soft pink layer in vivid shades throughout, recalling the sunset of the Mojave Desert.
