FACT. Expands With Cut-N-Sew Pieces and Utilitarian Bags for SS19
Another music-influenced collection.

FACT. blended post-punk and rave cultures for its Fall/Winter 2018 collection in September, and now the brand returns for spring with a lookbook of casual, music-inspired staples for Spring/Summer 2019. The latest assortment encompasses its usual offering of T-shirts and fleeces, while the addition of cut-n-sew pieces and bags usher in new categories.
This season, FACT. drew influence from four different genres to inform its designs: Noise, Acid Bass, Tekno + TR 909 and Blank Generation. Noise refers to the DIY attitude of underground and experimental music, while Acid Bass references the sounds of ACID HOUSE. Tekno + TR 909 is all about the drums used in Techno, whereas Blank Generation has been inspired by Richard Hell and the Voidoids album of the same name, Blank Generation. Graphics of verbiage such as “ACID BASS” and “BLANK GENERATION” are printed along earth-toned tees, button-down tops and bucket hats to reflect the musical connection. Meanwhile, branding remains a central message with “FACT” and “F.” logos stamped prominently across several pieces, including coach jackets and colorblocked socks. Utilitarian bags like waist pouches and duffels bring fresh accessory options, rounding out the looks.
The SS19 capsule is available to purchase now online at FACT.’s webstore.
