Converse Addict Continues Premium SS19 Drops With Canvas Jack Purcell
Two versatile colorways imbued with high-end detailing.

With a set of Chuck Taylors designed by NIGO already scheduled to roll out for Spring/Summer 2019, Converse Addict is making more seasonal moves by introducing a pair of premium Jack Purcell sneakers. Though the shoes look simple, they’re imbued with a variety of high-end details.
Substantial white and maroon Japanese canvas uppers highlight the classic low-top sneakers’ versatility, both retaining the classic black “smile” detailing at the toe. White laces offers a clean base to highlight the shoes’ subtle vintage-inspired detailing, which informs everything from the construction to the license plate tab at the heel.
A laundry list of details makes evident the difference between standard Converse and the Japan-only Addict line. Thick, removable EVA insoles, metal eyelets, reinforced contrast stitching and a Vibram-lined outsole ensure the Jack Purcells boast unparalleled quality in a throwback package, justifying the ¥16000 JPY (approximately $145 USD) price tag.
The Jack Purcells and NIGO‘s suede Chuck Taylor launch April 10, exclusively in Japan via Converse Addict stockists.
Most recently UNDERCOVER debuted a pair of zippered Converse high-tops.
