COMME des GARÇONS Preps Barbara Kruger-Esque "Huge Logo" Wallets
The latest accessories from Rei Kawakubo’s imprint.
Rei Kawakubo’s renowned imprint COMME des GARÇONS has returned with a “Wallet Huge Logo Collection,” featuring a Barbara Kruger-esque logo design that effectually plasters the brand’s logo across boldly colored black and red wallets. The new collection features six new wallets: an elongated fastener wallet, a business card wallet, a U-shaped zipper wallet, the L-shaped zipper wallet, and two different sized coin wallets. The various pieces feature an emblazoned logo in contrasting white, with the hardware being supplied in gold-toned metal and similarly-colored subtle branding hits. Rounding off several of the wallets, the zippers have been given tonal leather pull-tabs.
You can check out the “Wallet Huge Logo Collection” above. If you’re interested in grabbing one for yourself, they will be dropping March 22 at I.T and Dover Street Market Beijing. The various wallets are priced between $1,299 HKD to $2,999 HKD (approximately $165 USD to $382 USD). You can expect a global release in the weeks following.
