Ariana Grande's 'thank u, next' Hits 2 Billion Spotify Streams
Making her the first woman to have three albums to do so.

After becoming the most followed woman on Instagram earlier this year, Ariana Grande can add another title to her growing list of accomplishments, becoming the first woman to have three of her albums surpass two billion Spotify streams.
Her recent studio album thank u, next, which houses the chart topping track “7 Rings,” is the latest of her projects to reach this feat. Just like her Sweetener and Dangerous Woman EPs that came before it, thank u, next was able to amass 2 billion streams on Spotify earlier on Sunday. The lead single, also titled “thank u, next,” managed to pull in 100 million streams in just 11 days when it was released back in November, helping Grande to reach this threshold.
For more on the artist, the majority of Ariana Grande’s “7 Rings” royalties go to Rodgers and Hammerstein.
