Watch Travis Scott, Maroon 5 & Big Boi's Super Bowl LIII Halftime Performance
With an introduction from SpongeBob Squarepants & Squidward.
Despite all the controversy surrounding the Super Bowl LIII halftime performance, the highly anticipated entertainment intermission went off without a hitch.
Exciting the packed audience at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Georgia, Maroon 5 kicked things off with performances of their classic tracks “Harder to Breathe” and “This Love.” Immediately after SpongeBob Squarepants and Squidward Tentacles introduced Travis Scott by providing some extra brass for the beginning of “Sicko Mode.” Maroon 5 made their way back on stage to offer a guitar-driven rendition of “Sicko Mode” for the second half of La Flame’s performance.
After a brief marching band lead up, lead singer Adam Levine broke into a choir-assisted take on “Girls Like You” before making his way through the crowd singing “She Will Be Loved.” If that wasn’t enough, Atlanta icon Big Boi came on stage to perform OutKast’s “The Way You Move.” Rounding up the packed halftime performance, Maroon 5 brought performances of “Sugar” and “Moves Like Jagger” as an array of fireworks went off into the Atlanta sky.
