The Darkside Initiative Joins K2 for Exclusive AFTERBLACK Snowboard
Highly limited.

San Francisco’s The Darkside Initiatve links with K2 for a special edition of the latter’s AFTERBLACK snowboard. Emblazoned with commemorative graphics and a bold color-blocked Triax glass & carbon DarkWeb base, the board is limited to a mere 24 pieces. “I was really inspired by the blocking on old hockey sweaters,” The Darkside Initiative’s Colin Miller said. “I wanted it to look simple and clean. … We know how authentic a brand K2 is and we want people to see this snowboard in use. A real collaboration should represent both collaborators, so we wanted the spirit of both brands to be on display.”
Shop the exclusive board over on The Darkside Initiative’s site for $500 USD and watch in action below.
Elsewhere in California, Garrett Leight Optical joined forces with stylish Canadians JJJJound for special frames.
