Mysterious Japanese Label SEQUEL Teases First Drop
The secretive young label debuts with limited branded items.
With little pomp or circumstance, Japan’s SEQUEL kicks off its initial release with a quiet drop “somewhere in Tokyo.” Designed under the mantra of “every beginning is only a SEQUEL,” the punky offering includes a distressed bomber jacket and white T-shirt, printed with a simple black strip and all-caps branding. The faded olive bomber boasts monochrome prints and an occasional paint splatter, with the original care tag partially torn off.
Intentionally-blurry product shots hint at an accompanying leopard-printed garment, but no word on upcoming releases just yet. Stay tuned to SEQUEL’s website and social media for more info.
