Coming off last month’s track “Trouble,” and 2018’s Stereo EP, Indiana-based singer/songwriter Omar Apollo has shared his new single and accompanying music video for “Ashamed.”

Staying true to his signature sound, Apollo emphasizes a range of fluttering R&B vocal choruses intermixed with funkier verses that highlight the artist’s dynamic talent. The video is equally weird and unconventional, channeling an almost sitcom-like vibe that sees him and his friends dancing around in a park and on swan boats in a local lake.

Watch the video above, and if you’re interested in seeing the up-and-comer live, he’s set to head out on a North American tour in March alongside Dream Boy, ROLE MODEL, Ambar Lucid, and Mk.gee.

For more music news, Jordan Rakei just dropped his latest single “Mind’s Eye.”
