After Ten Years, Nike SB Gives Us The Air Max Janoski 2
The sequel to the iconic skateboarding classic.

Nike SB has had a tumultuous road in showcasing the rich skateboarding culture and lifestyle through its apparel, footwear and athletes — over the past year the reinvigoration of skating culture has undoubtedly impacted the future of the brand, who’s put out a plethora of re-releases and new colorways to help prop up the nature of the brand. One of the most iconic of these sneakers is undoubtedly the Nike SB Janoski, and now, after a decade of a long-hearted run, the imprint has decided to introduce the sequel to its iconic sneaker, revealing the Air Max Janoski 2.
Channeling the history of Stefan Janoski’s iconic career as a professional skateboarder, the new sneaker relishes in a similarly shaped silhouette as its predecessor. However, the new model comes donning a knit-upper with a brand new IP foam midsole with a visible Air Max unit that furthers the functionality of the sneaker. But Nike hasn’t just stopped here — it has also introduced a premium version of the new sneaker, which employs a sock-like knit inner, boasting more comfortability and stability. The new sneakers come in three distinct colorways, a camouflaged iteration on the premium version, and “Black” and “White” iterations on the normal pairs. Expect the newly released Air Max Janoski 2 to offer a plethora of more color options in the future.
Take a look at the upcoming colorways above, and if you’re interested in picking up a pair head over to Nike’s web store where the prices are set at $110 USD for the normal pairs and $120 USD for the premium.
