Nike’s Air Max 98 is returning in a lush gradient grey color scheme that was originally utilized on its Air Max 95 predecessor. The unique iteration is a much-welcomed homage to the original retro release of the famed silhouette nearly 19 years prior.
The shoe arrives in two shades of grey, with its mudguard donning a darker-hued “Atmosphere Grey” while the top upper portion utilizes a more neutral, lighter-colored “Vast Grey.” Its suede and mesh upper is met with a dark-colored grey that totes a vibrant “Fresh Mint”-colored Air Max sole unit, with similarly colored hits marking the Swoosh branding and lace-loops. Sure to be a welcomed addition to weekly sneaker rotations, the flexible calm and relaxed color hue offers a breadth of garment-pairing abilities.
