L'Homme Rouge Celebrates Sustainability With FW19 "Conversations" Collection
Go backstage at the label’s Stockholm Fashion Week show.
Swedish label L’Homme Rouge returned to its home city to showcase its Fall/Winter 2019 collection during Stockholm Fashion Week. Titled “Conversations,” the collection is the label’s first that is produced within a set of new sustainable sourcing standards that minimizes the use of farmland, pesticides or water in garment production.
The collection itself is inspired by a conversation between different generations, and how different generations need each other. Pieces in the collection see the label continue its signature aesthetic, with a particular focus on deconstructed formalwear running throughout. Key pieces include checked overcoats, chunky knitwear and an oversized scarf, worn by two models to reinforce the theme of coming together.
