After linking up last year for a 501-themed collaboration, designer Feng Chen Wang and Levi’s have reunited for their Spring/Summer 2019 collection. Similarly to that collection, the new release features deconstruction as a key theme. Consisting of four denim jackets and three pairs of jeans, the SS19 collection sees different denim shades — from dark indigo to light and washed-out — reworked onto the same piece.

The stand-out piece is the denim jacket designed to look like a lighter jacket underneath a darker one, while a similar aesthetic is  used on jeans in the collection. Elsewhere, the collection features firework-themed embroidery, including purple images on jeans, sweatshirts and caps, and the phrase “do not hold in hand after lighting” on one pair of jeans. The full capsule is set to hit the SSENSE web store in the near future.
