Digawel FW19 Unites Cowboys and Office Drones
Blazers, bolo ties and denim chaps.

Ahead of the brand’s Amazon Fashion Week Tokyo show, Digawel showcases its upcoming Fall/Winter 2019 range in a sharp lookbook. Like the quirky Spring/Summer 2019 range, the new collection continues undermining otherwise conventional white shirts and suiting, this time drawing from a Western influence.
The co-ed lookbook highlights the small details that inform Digawel’s unique designs, including zippered shearling vests, washed denim shirts dotted with white pant and leather belts strapped with giant silver buckles and plenty of d-rings. Americana-indebted garments, like overalls, plaid jackets and stand-collar coats, are given a subversive twist with oversized cuts, demonstrating Digawel’s playful approach to recontextualizing inspiration. More off-kilter proportions come by way of tunic-length shirts, further skewing the normality of boxy blazers and striped sweaters.
Check out the range of looks above and stay tuned for more imagery during Amazon’s upcoming Tokyo Fashion Week event.
Meanwhile, at the recent London Fashion Week, Margaret Howell delivered slouchy minimalism.
