FCC Receives Complaints For Adam Levine's Shirtless Super Bowl Halftime Performance
Jordan Peele’s ‘Us’ trailer also received complaints.

According to reports, the Federal Communications Commission received a series of complaints about Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine‘s shirtless Super Bowl LIII performance.
The complaints note how many found it uncomfortable to view the unexpected half-naked performance and how the show revealed a male-female double standard in reference to Janet Jackson‘s infamous “wardrobe malfunction.” Back in 2004, the songstress’ career took a major turn when her nipple was exposed during her halftime performance with Justin Timberlake. The FCC fined CBS $550,000 USD after they received more than half a million complaints.
Additionally, the FCC also received complaints from parents that were not so pleased that their children saw the trailer for Jordan Peele‘s upcoming psychological horror-thriller film, Us.
Take a look at some of the complaints the FCC received for the Super Bowl LIII broadcast below.
