Azuma Makoto & PEACE AND AFTER's Latest Collaboration Recreates Iconic Floral Paintings
Marked with hand written notes on flower art theory.







Following a T-shirt release earlier this year, lauded Japanese florist Azuma Makoto has come together with fledgling label PEACE AND AFTER on a crewneck sweater drop.
Comprised of two styles, the latest offerings are emblazoned with prints of floral arrangements arrange by Makoto. For the collaboration, the florist produced compositions that draw inspiration from iconic paintings centered around flowers. The recereations of Odilon Redon’s Wild Flowers in a Long-Necked Vase (1912) and Henri Matisse’s Bouquet of Flowers in a White Vase (1909) also come come marked with hand written notes on flower art theory. Each crewneck sweater features a rubber PEACE AND AFTER patches on the left arm and an elongated patch sewn with subtle branding and a small illustration at the rear.
