Playing with its signature fabric, HOMME PLISSÉ ISSEY MIYAKE has dropped a new billowy coat, coming in a muted olive tone with a series of intricate pleats all around.
Coming with large drop shoulders and an elongated build that goes past the knees, the coat sees a baggy cut with extra volume to bring out the piece’s delicate pleating. It comes with a large two-way zip at the front, complemented by black snap buttons at the waist as well as the sides. The hood sits over a raised collar that’s been accented with sharp borders, while the hemline has been arched. One noteworthy highlight of the coat is the textile that it’s made up of — a premium polyester fabric that’s both lightweight and water-resistant. Its special weave allows the garment to hold its pleated patterns, adding depth to the piece for a unique drape.
