Famous Dex & Wiz Khalifa Connect for "Proofread" Visual
The rapper’s first release following his seizure earlier this November.
Famous Dex and Wiz Khalifa have shared the visual for their collaborative single, “Proofread.” The track features a different sound for the Dex Meets Dexter artist as he moves away from high-energy beats to a more melodic output, tagging Khalifa’s distinctly relaxed flow for help.
The visual sees a carefree Dex shrugging off the negative comments that come with his career that range from hateful messages on social media to false tabloid stories. He spends most of his time on top of a convertible enjoying his life, showing that they never really bothered him while Wiz enters as a radio host to support Dex’s message.
Dex recently suffered from a seizure during a performance in early November, but the rapper was not admitted to the hospital. His team issued a statement saying, “We wish Famous Dex a speedy recovery after his epileptic seizure last night. He is currently in good spirits and hopes to return back to finishing his new album. He thanks all his fans for their prayers and well wishes.”
