KAPITAL Drops Patchwork-Heavy Katsuragi Nime "Gypsy" Pants
Each piece is handmade and heavily distressed.
KAPITAL has returned with its latest drop, following up its feather-emblazoned sweaters with a set of its patched-up “Gypsy” Pants. Utilizing the Japanese brand’s signature high-waisted Nime cut as the basis for the pant, each handmade item is loaded with boro detailing and washed for a worn-in look.
All of the pants have been constructed with a wide cut that’s slightly tapered around the bottom for an effortlessly relaxed fit. Made with repurposed cotton, the pants are durable yet gentle to the touch because of its aged qualities. Further underlining the retro motif, the waist of each trouser can be adjusted via the small cinch buckle at the back.
Meanwhile, a full range of patterns and motifs are included in the patchwork detailing, like KAPITAL’s signature smiley-face prints, boro and denim patches, acid-dyed swatches and a series of intricate floral embroidery. Other nuances like contrasting top-stitching and slight distressing round up the details of the custom pieces.
The KAPITAL Katsuragi “Gypsy” Pants are currently available at KAPITAL’s web store for $625 USD.
