The Previously Unreleased Air Jordan 9 "Gym Red" Is Finally Available
A sample from 2013 sees the light of day.

The Air Jordan 9 never actually made it onto the court during Michael Jordan’s NBA tenure, but the sneaker certainly would have been the perfect shoe for his time with the Chicago Bulls. The Jordan Brand created an unreleased sample of the Air Jordan 9 “Gym Red” in 2013 and they’re finally getting a fall release date for the public. On StockX, the sneaker has amassed an average price of $240 USD, which is trading at 20% over the MSRP.
The “Gym Red” colorway offers a nice take on the Air Jordan 9, which initially debuted during Jordan’s first retirement string. Coming through with a white leather base, this retro sports a shiny red patent leather finish on the upper’s elongated overlay. Interestingly enough, this is the first time the Air Jordan 9 has seen a red palette on the patent leather. As for detailing, touches of Chicago inspiration round out the shoe with black accents on the tongue, eyelets, heel and over the Jumpman logos with a white #23 on the back.
Head over to StockX now to secure the Air Jordan 9 “Gym Red” sneakers before they drop. The lowest ask currently sits at $213 USD.
