SANKUANZ Put on a Display of Rave-Informed Tailoring for FW19 Show
Expressing the intersection of subculture and fashion.

Kicking off Paris Fashion Week Men’s 2019, Chinese designer Shangguan Zhe presented his lauded SANKUANZ label’s Fall/Winter 2019 collection.
Displaying the intersection of subculture and fashion, the range explores exaggerated tailoring informed by rave wear. Aside from reimagining tradition silhouettes of menswear, tailoring was crafted specifically for women, a first for SANKUANZ. Outfits comprised of exaggerated suit jackets and slimmer fitting pants come accented by striking silver-tone finger rings and earrings, holster vests and convertible sling bag/waist pouches.
Elsewhere, the collection features croc and smooth leather wares that are decorated with zippers, along with technical outerwear that’s dressed with reflective banding. Some notable pieces include a two-tone cropped leather flight bomber jacket, a full-print spandex long sleeve shirt, and zipper suiting trousers. Rounding up the FW19 collection is a selection of footwear, lead by a new take on SANKUANZ’s sneaker sandal, square tip boots, and trail-inspired sneakers.
