Maison Margiela Reinterprets Formal Attire With Ridged Sole Loafers
Spice up your old-man game.
Following up from its recent foray into the chunky-sneaker trend, with models like the Retro Fit Low trainer, Parisian imprint Maison Margiela is back with these new ridged sole loafers.
Crafted in Italy, these white leather loafers feature a rounded toe, hanging tassel detailing, a branded insole, and signature white stitching near the heel. The upper also includes a painted silver coating that runs around the middle of the uppers, adding a uniquely glamorous reinterpretation of the classic loafer. The upper is met with a distressed rubber sole, incorporating the caterpillar-like ridging element on the heel portion.
Those looking to step up their formalwear game can head over to FARFETCH’s web store where they are currently retailing for $920 USD.
