Columbia & atmos LAB's Latest Capsule Collection Goes Plaid
Featuring Omni-Shield material.
Columbia and atmos LAB have teamed up yet again, adding to its bevy of collaborations with a new collection to kick off 2019. The duo brings back some past staple pieces in this latest mix, playing up technical elements and atmos LAB’s original tartan pattern to reinvent each item.
There are three silhouettes offered including the Sawtooth Jacket and Sawtooth Shorts — making its comeback from Spring/Summer 2018 – which are both packable for convenient storage. Alongside those two, the Pavlof Road Jacket is introduced as a new hooded option. Each style is presented in three colorways: all-over print, black with checked pattern, and yellow with checkered pattern. Yellow hits are present throughout via the pull-tabs on the outerwear, while matching shorts round out the selection. To help protect against dirt and rain, the fabric used in the collection incorporates Columbia’s trademarked Omni-Shield material.
Ranging from ¥9,900 JPY(approximately $90 USD) for the shorts to ¥16,500 (approximately $150 USD) for the Pavlof jacket, the capsule releases on atmos’ website beginning January 26. It will also be available in atmos and Sports Lab by atmos stores starting February 9. The collaborators released a promotional movie in anticipation of the drop. Watch the clip on YouTube below.
