Balenciaga's TRACK Sneaker Receives a Bright New Makeover
You won’t be able to miss these.
Switching things up from its past muted colorways of the TRACK trailer sneaker, Balenciaga is back with the hybrid luxe trail trainer, but this time releasing it in a bright blue-and-pink colorway. Aside from the customary chunky outsole that’s been found in current footwear releases from the house, the TRACK differs from the Triple S by its cage-like uppers — layering windowed panels of blue, baby-blue, gray, black and fuchsia over an equally-complex midsole and outsole.
Details for this pair of Balenciaga TRACK sneakers include the signature shoe size on the toe, “Balenciaga” branding on the lateral side of the toe, a chunky gray outsole bottom, a dual lacing system, and pink lining. Many have already expressed their stance on Balenciaga’s footwear, mostly not in favor of the over-the-top silhouettes, but one can also not disregard how well the retro-stylings work with this brightly-colored hiking/running shoe — and the fact that over 90 different components go into making each side of the trainers.
Those interested can find this retro-inspired colorway of the Balenciaga TRACK over at MR PORTER where it retails for a price of £435 GBP (approximately $570 USD).
