Shortly after we shared an on-foot look at the adidas Originals Lexicon, the Three Stripes released official imagery of the upcoming silhouette. The duo is inspired by the running models of the early ’90s but is slightly modernized. We first saw Jonah Hill sport the sneaker’s “Cloud White/Active Blue-Core Black” colorway last year which generated curiosity if the actor/director inked a deal with adidas. Today that same iteration is joined by a mix of “Clear Brown/Active Purple-Shock Red.” Each color choice is done on a knitted upper that’s supported by an EVA midsole and Adiprene heel cushioning. Contrast stitching is present throughout the upper while translucent piping forms its eyestays and heel’s pull tab. Lastly, minimal branding is added down the middle taking on an industrial feel.

The adidas Originals LXCON releases in two colorways on February 2 for $120 USD each at select adidas retailers and adidas.com. Those aiming for a simpler sneaker from adidas can look for the YEEZY BOOST 350 V2 “Butter” restock.
