Vans Greets Fall by Debuting Its New Varix WC Model
First lifestyle silhouette built using the brand’s WaffleCup™ tech.
Following a relatively busy spring/summer campaign, Vans is set to greet fall with the introduction of a brand new silhouette style. The Varix WC draws design inspiration from early 2000’s skate culture and is officially pegged as the brand’s first lifestyle model built with its WaffleCup™ outsole — converging old-school design sensibilities with advanced technological know-how.
Set to hit the scene in both black and a multicolor motifs, each sneaker, however, fronts a mixed-material upper blending leather with a medley of lightweight textiles in an intricate panel formation. Other key attributes include a vulcanized midsole, toe and heel clip with a comfy UltraCush Lite footbed, effectively setting the scene for its signature three-piece outsole. The new Vans Varix WC will make its debut later this month for a retail price of $100 USD. Be sure to drop by the brand’s website for drop date and all pertinent release details.
In case you missed it, Nike’s React Element 55 is set to drop in “Triple Black.”
