T.I. Explains Why He Doesn't Work With Iggy Azalea Anymore
It has something to do with Q-Tip.
In support of his new Da Nic EP, T.I. aka Tip stopped by HOT 97’s Ebro In The Morning to discuss an array of topics, including The Family Hustle show, the Drake vs. Meek Mill beef, working with his artist Travi$ Scott. In regards to another artist he mentored, Iggy Azalea, he explained why their relationship went down south. According to Tip, things got complicated when she found herself in a back-and-forth with Q-Tip. THe Grand Hustle honcho tried to smooth things out between both artists but Iggy and her camp failed to keep things under control.
“After the Q-Tip thing… After I kind of had smoothed it over, like okay, ‘What is really meant to be said here is…’ After it was cool, everything was cool, and then they kind of came back and undid what I had just [accomplished],” he said. “I’ma be all the way real, I’m a loyal partner. If I rock with you I’m gon’ rock with you…I really do feel that they [Iggy’s team] just needed a little more time to adjust, which I feel they [Iggy’s team] can do. They have the talent, they have the charisma.”
