Will Popcaan's Dubs of PARTYNEXTDOOR's "Only U" & Roy Woods' "Gwan Big Up Urself" Ever See Official Releases?
The dubs were premiered during episode 30 of OVO Sound Radio.
At this year’s Redbull Culture Clash, Popcaan contributed to Mixpak‘s win thanks to his fiery dubplate of Drake‘s hit “One Dance.” Unfortunately, it never saw an official release, and now it seems that his other OVO dubs won’t be seeing the light of day either. The Jamaican rapper’s dubs of PARTYNEXTDOOR‘s “Only U” and Roy Woods‘ “Gwan Big Up Urself” were premiered on episode 30 of OVO Sound Radio by Oliver El-Khatib himself, but there doesn’t seem to be any plans to release them any time soon. Earlier in the month, Popcaan dropped his energetic single “Money Mi Want,” so that will have to appease fans for now.
