Converse Taps fragment design to Kick off New Essentials Collection
Designed with premium fabrics that get better over time.
For the upcoming 2016 fall/winter season, Converse introduces its latest Essentials line. The premium apparel collection not only emphasizes comfort, but also encompasses intricate details that elevate everyday silhouettes. As a nod to the Chuck Taylor All Star sneaker, the fabric in each of the items is meant to fade naturally and become softer with each wear, without compromising the overall fit. Available for both men and women, the selection includes mainstays like tees, crewnecks, hoodies, pants, and a backpack.
To jumpstart the launch, a limited-edition Converse Essentials x fragment collection designed by Hiroshi Fujiwara himself will be made available on Wednesday, Sept. 28. Testing the philosophy by washing his own collection for nearly 12 years, the vintage-ready garments champion the core of the Essentials theme. Incorporating staples like a crewneck, tee and pants, each item is crafted with premium cotton and features “FRAGMENT” in plastisol, ensuring durability. The lineup will be available at Converse online and select retailers ranging from $40-$90 USD. View the exclusive set above and be on the lookout for more Converse Essentials apparel dropping soon.
