Here's How You Can Help Nelly Pay off His Federal Tax Debt
We love you and we need you. #SaveNelly

Nelly‘s debt issues are currently highly publicized — the rap superstar owes the Missouri Department of Revenue $149,511 in unpaid taxes and is also hit with $2,412,283 federal tax lien last month. Sources reveal that the St. Louis rapper is working with the government to resolve this issue. Nelly’s loyal fanbase, however, has already come up with somewhat of a solution to help Nelly out. The #SaveNelly campaign is to get as many people as possible to stream his 2002 hit single “Hot In Here” over and over. After reports of his tax lien emerged, SPIN calculated that the rapper would earn between $0.006 and $0.0084 per Spotify stream. This means that “Hot In Herre” would need to be streamed between 287,176,547 and 402,880,500 times in order for him come up with the money needed to pay off his debts. Check out a few #SaveNelly tweets below and make sure you hit the play button of “Hot In Herre” below.
