Nasty Gal Is Seeking a Potential Buyer
The Nasty Galaxy looks to sell.

Founded in 2006, cult e-commerce fashion destination Nasty Gal is currently on the hunt for a potential buyer. Using eBay as a platform to sell secondhand wares, Sophia Amoruso propped her brand growth on curating and selling vintage styles. Nasty Gal has been quoted as “aggressively looking for capital” according to sources. The company has branched out into a private label and retail, setting up a Los Angeles brick and mortar store in 2014. The firm has a history of scoring with investors, having received $16 million USD from former J.C. Penney and Apple retail chief Ron Johnson last year and $50 million USD from Index Ventures in 2012.
