Watch Moses Sumney's Powerful Video For "Lonely World"
Sumney links up with Thundercat for another haunting single.
On the eve of releasing his highly-anticipated Lamentations EP, Moses Sumney has premiered a breathtaking new tune alongside an equally as spellbinding visual. Featuring Thundercat on bass, Ian Chang on drums, Joshua Willing Halpern and Tosin Abasi on guitar, and gorgeous production courtesy of Gueorgui Linev, “Lonely World” is a haunting falsetto-laden experience led by crunchy guitar lines, slow-building melodies and evocative samples.
Sumney has paired “Lonely World” with a simple but stunning video. Directed by Sam Cannon, the clip stars Tyler Givens, who is multiplied into a powerful circular arrangement while performing a routine in pitch black water.
