Continuing her streak as artist-of-the-moment, New Jersey’s SZA has now released “Quicksand” — another new track. The song is part of the soundtrack to the second season of Insecure, which is notable for — amongst other things — boasting Solange Knowles as a music consultant. The song itself is a retro-inspired slice of SZA and the sound is much in the same vein as the CTRL album. Listen to “Quicksand” for yourself below.

It’s been a star turn of a year for SZA, whose CTRL album was finally released after multiple delays to mass acclaim. One of the standout tracks from the album, “Supermodel,” also recently received the video treatment.
