Watch Kendrick Lamar Perform on 'The Late Show with Stephen Colbert'
Compton has made its way to the Big Apple.
Gracing the stage for an inaugural performance on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, the Grammy Award-winning Kendrick Lamar performed a mixture of songs from his album, To Pimp a Butterfly. Bringing life to the songs “Wesley’s Theory,” “Momma,” “King Kunta” and “U,” it seemed to be a match made in heaven for Lamar to be the show’s first artist to perform. Watch the performance above, peep Stephen’s tweet underneath and be sure to cop the newest issue of HYPETRAK featuring both Quincy Jones and Kendrick Lamar.
I suddenly have enormous affection for Kendrick Lamar. #LSSC https://t.co/LfdeoD187w
