'Incredibles 2' Is Now The First Animated Film to Gross Over $600 Million USD
A monumental achievement.
Following a highly-anticipated opening, the Incredibles 2 is now the first animated film to gross over $600 million USD in North America.
Although the feat is definitely monumental, it is just the latest in the Disney Pixar sequel’s long list of milestone achievements. According to box office records, Incredibles 2 already became the top-grossing animated film by blowing past Finding Dory, which previously held the number one spot with $486.3 million USD total gross earnings. Looking further at global box office records, Incredibles 2 has now generated a staggering $1.16 billion USD worldwide. According to reports, a recent surge in profits for the film was seen during this Labor Day weekend.
