Gaslamp Killer Honors Great Grandmother on "Haleva"

Los Angeles artist Gaslamp Killer has earned his stripes as one of his region’s most talented mainstays and one of the west coast beat and experimental music scene’s originators. On September 16, he plans to drop a new studio album entitled Instrumentalepathy. Continuing to support the project and build anticipation for it, GLK has liberated a new record off the LP. Dubbed “Haleva,” the song is billed as a “tribute” to his Turkish great grandmother and pulls some of its inspiration from what its creator calls “truly savage psychedelic Middle Eastern rock.” You can give “Haleva” a spin below.
