A First Look at the Upcoming 'Game of Thrones' x adidas Collaboration
Two silhouettes inspired by “House Targaryen.”
With most of the attention focused in on adidas‘ upcoming collaboration with Dragon Ball Z, let’s not forget the impending Game of Thrones capsule that is also set to drop.
After receiving a few mockups earlier this summer, fans now have a first look at the special edition sneaker collection inspired by HBO‘s hit fantasy series. Utilizing the Three Stripe’s coveted UltraBOOST model, two “House Targaryen” iterations have surfaced, one featuring a snowy white and metallic silver colorway, while the other takes on a contrasting black and red look. Each sneaker then comes with signature Three Stripes branding along with a heel tab that reads “Fire And Blood” and a tongue that bears the Targaryen’s dragon logo.
It is believed the collection will also house silhouettes inspired by The Starks, White Walkers, House Lannister and the Night’s Watch. According to sneaker insiders Yeezy Mafia, the Game of Thrones x adidas UltraBOOST collection will arrive in 2019, when the show’s eight and final season hits HBO. In the meantime, get a first look below.
In related news, the Dragon Ball Z x adidas collection could be limited to just 1000 pairs per style.
