Latest 'Death Stranding' Trailer Reveals a New Antagonist
Voiced by the iconic Troy Baker.
Another enigmatic trailer for video game auteur Hideo Kojima’s Death Stranding has surfaced. Debuting out of Tokyo Game Show, the footage above shares our first look at a new antagonist who will be voiced by the acclaimed voice actor Troy Baker (Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain.)
His character will appear as an enigmatic foe who summons ridiculously large creatures to stop protagonist Porter Bridges, played by actor Norman Reedus, from progressing. The monster, a golden-masked character summons a mammoth-like cat creature with black limbs and a deathly howl.
Since its debut in 2015, there has been little to no information about Death Stranding‘s gameplay, plot, or overall setting. Each subsequent trailer has left more questions than answers, and even footage of the gameplay in action has left fans to speculate how it incorporates into action.
