Lil Wayne Claims Birdman Spent Most of Their $100M Advance From Universal Music

After touching on his possible retirement a few days ago on live television and sending shots at Birdman on “Grateful,” new legal documents from Lil Wayne’s $51-million dollar legal battle have hit the web thanks to TMZ. According to the paperwork, Universal Music Group advanced Birdman a whopping $100 million for a distribution deal, and he some how managed to burn $70 million on what he says are “royalties, marketing and recording costs.” Weezy’s legal received documents from Birdman’s lawyer to prove that he spent the money on business expenses, but apparently the numbers aren’t matching up according to Wayne’s legal team.
