Before you plunk down some cash on a travel guide for your next globe-trotting adventure, give Google’s new Trips app a shot instead.

Completely free and unveiled by the tech giant today, Trips is intended to offer you “everything you need to have the best vacation, right at your fingertips.” Not only will the app organize all of your accommodations in one place, but it even offers personalized recommendations based on your own Google search history along with comprehensive guides to more than 200 locales. The best part about Trips, though? The entire app works offline, meaning you can download everything — including your own personalized maps and directions — before your trip so you don’t have to rely on internet connectivity or cell service while you’re out and about.

Trips is available now, completely free, for both iOS and Android.
