Most music artists covet a GRAMMY, considered the highest honor in the industry — but A$AP Rocky doesn’t. In a conversation with TV journalist Scott Aukerman, the Harlem native talks about the extinction of gold records in music, and mentions that “they don’t give out gold records no more nowadays. Nowadays, you get this: a gold MP3. Instead of hanging it on my wall, I just plug into my computer and drag it right onto my hard drive.” Pretty Flacko goes on to say that he doesn’t care that he hasn’t won any GRAMMYs, because in fact, he’s already downloaded a bunch on BitTorrent.
