A$AP Rocky and Chance The Rapper Headline Alicia Keys's NYC Black Ball
With Patti Smith and Salt-N-Pepa also set to perform.
The Black Ball is set to take place in New York on October 19. Billed as “an evening of music and philanthropy,” the Black Ball, along with the Keep a Child Alive foundation, aims to bring back the spirit of ’80s activism to these times. The event is hosted by Alicia Keys and is in honor of Clive Davis. Headliners include A$AP Rocky and Chance The Rapper, with other musical guests being Patti Smith and Salt-N-Pepa.
The 2015 event was just as star-filled, with Chris Rock emceeing, Alicia Keys again hosting and Lenny Kravitz, Wale, and LION BABE performing. The event previously raised $3.8 million USD in funding. You can purchase tickets for this event on the Keep a Child Alive website.
