Yohji Yamamoto Continues Graphic Streak With Printed Tencel Shirts
Lightweight layering pieces from Fall/Winter 2018.

Yohji Yamamoto‘s recent collections have yielded a variety of prints and bold graphics, with Fall/Winter 2018 utilizing — among other things — lightweight tencel shirts as a base for the eye-catching imagery. Two of the muted shirts have arrived at stores, each offering distinct imagery: one sports manga-like monochrome photographs while the other layers Kanji, English and illustrations for a chaotic collage. Both items offer Yamamoto’s signature oversized cut, with flowiness guaranteed by the lightweight tencel.
