READYMADE & Just Don Link up on an NBA-Themed Capsule
An homage to the 1991 NBA All-Star game.
Similar in concept to the military-inspired capsule that hit the scene a couple of years back, READYMADE and Just Don are back once again, this time unveiling a cap and a pair of shorts that pay reverence to the 1991 NBA All-Star game jerseys. Both pieces take on red, white and blue tonal accents along with a background star image — all of which can be spotted on the old-school hoops uniform.
In typical READYMADE fashion, designer Yuta Hosokawa made creative use of vintage U.S. military tents for the athletic shorts and vintage U.S. postal bags for the hat. Aside from the striking graphics found on each side, the shorts feature both brand names on the front and back, respectively, with a tricolored band placed at the hemline. The headwear item, on the other hand, spotlights co-branding accents on the front, with a python leather loop closure at the back. The capsule will make its debut on September 1 at Maxfield LA and RSVP Gallery.
