The Internet's Patrick Paige Drops Video for "The Party Song (Do My Dance)"
A summer party and the moody aftermath.
Patrick Paige II, best known as the bassist for The Internet, has released the accompanying clip for Letters of Irrelevance‘s “The Party Song (Do My Dance).” The five-and-a-half-minute music video spends the first two-thirds showcasing a sunny and fun-filled summertime party, with plenty of dancing, drinking and smiles. The latter third shifts, however, with a half-tempo beat kicking off a verse dedicated to depression. As the rest of the song plays out, the camera slowly pans towards Paige, now alone, as he sits on a toilet and takes swigs from a nearly-empty bottle.
