Kelela's "LMK" Video Brings Back the Glory Days of the '90s
Missy Elliott vibes.
Alt-R&B starlet Kelela drops a visually-arresting new music video for “LMK,” the first single cut from her forthcoming debut LP, Take Me Apart. The clip harks back to the glory days of ’90s videography, complete with candy-colored lighting, swooping cinematography, floor-shattering choreography and a bevy of fire outfit changes.
“The song is directed at a man who’s being weird instead of being honest. Does casual have to be careless? Is wifey the only woman who deserves your respect, and why do you think I want more when I demand it? These are my questions…”
