Last month, underground West Coast beat scene stalwart Great Dane shook up the online music scene with his progressive four-track EP, Lost & Loved. Following on from his sparse lead single, “To Stay,” the producer has stepped into lighter, more uptempo territory with “Tryna Reach Out.” Featuring Californian crooner on the come-up Sophia Black, the hazy R&B-tinged track flawlessly melts Great Dane’s lush, mature production style into Black’s smokey vocal tone.
