E-40 & Kamaiyah Trade Bars on "Petty"
Lifted from E-40’s forthcoming double album, ‘The D-Boy Diary: Book 1 & 2.’
Veteran rapper E-40 has joined forces with fellow Californian emcee Kamaiyah for a brand new track called “Petty.” The collaboration is set to be included on E-40’s upcoming double album The D-Boy Diary: Book 1 & 2, which is due to drop in November. E-40 revealed the following in a press release:
“When I work with talent from my community, it feels organic. Kamaiyah is a talented artist and she’s bubbling right now in the streets.”
“Petty” is produced by J Hawk, who was responsible for New Boyz’s massive international hit “You’re a Jerk.” This year, Kamaiyah has made waves with her track “How You Want It” and linked up with YG and Drake on “Why You Always Hatin’?” Stream “Petty” below.
